Dear Sirs,
The Center for American and the Center for European Studies invite you to participate in the 2nd National Congress of Anthropology, Sociology and Cultural Studies.
When?
The Congress will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025 between 4:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. online on the Microsoft Teams platform.
The length of the Conference depends on the number of speakers. In the event of a high number of applications, we reserve the right to extend the Congress to Saturday, August 30, 2025.
What is the Conference about?
The main assumption of the Congress is to present anthropological, sociological and cultural issues.
The issues discussed at the conference can be addressed from both a contemporary and historical perspective and concern problems regardless of their geographical location.
Proposed (example) thematic areas:
Contemporary migration challenges: analysis of the socio-cultural effects of migration and immigrant integration.
Identity and belonging in the age of globalization: changing cultural and social contexts.
Digital anthropology: studies of virtual communities, social media, and technological innovations.
Sustainability and social ecology: interdisciplinary approaches to environmental problems.
Intersectionality and diversity: analysis of the links between gender, race, social class, and other identifying factors.
Consumption culture: the role of material goods and lifestyle in shaping identity.
Digital societies: the impact of new media on communication, social relationships, and everyday life.
Interdisciplinarity in social fields.
Urban sociology: analysis of urban change, urban migration, and diversity.

And many more!
The above-mentioned thematic areas are only examples – we strongly encourage you to go beyond them. Presentations may be interdisciplinary, combining various experiences and fields of science.
We believe in the freedom of academic discussion and do not censor presentations for ideological or political reasons. Original and unconventional presentations will always be appreciated by the Scientific Committee.
