DESCRIPTION:<p>Ladies and Gentlemen,</p><p>The Center for European Studies and the Cent
 er for American Studies invite you to participate in the 2nd National Congr
 ess of Fashion Law - a unique event constituting a place for the exchange o
 f knowledge and discussions between fashion law enthusiasts and representat
 ives of the fashion industry!</p><p>WHEN?<br />The congress will be held on
  Saturday, September 14, 2024, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. online on th
 e Microsoft Teams platform. <br />The length of the Congress depends on the
  number of speakers. In the event of a high number of applications, we rese
 rve the right to extend the conference to Sunday, September 15, 2024.</p><p
 >WHAT IS THE CONFERENCE ABOUT?</p><p>The main assumption of the Fashion Law
  Congress is a discussion on the issues of fashion law in the perspective o
 f generally applicable national (Polish) law, foreign legal orders, interna
 tional regulations and practical aspects of running a business in the fashi
 on industry (from marketing, through specific employment methods, to protec
 tion policies). environments that limit the activities of fashion companies
 ).<br />The organizers of the Fashion Law Congress would like to discuss a 
 multitude of pressing issues related to law in the fashion industry, such a
 s licensing agreements, copyrights, trademark protection and legal aspects 
 related to the production and distribution of fashion products (clothing an

 ntities selling clothing and accessories<br />✓ Trade dress – case studies<
 br />✓ New challenges for the fashion industry (including artificial intell
 igence, digitalization and virtual reality)<br />✓ The most interesting rul
 ings regarding "fashion matters" and their consequences<br />✓ Ethical issu
 es of clothing production (modern slave labor, child labor, environmental d
 egradation, etc.)<br />✓ Issues related to international supply chains<br /

 trongly encourage you to go beyond their framework. Moreover, the presentat
 ions may be interdisciplinary in nature, combining various fields of scienc
 e.</p><p>We believe in freedom of academic discussion and do not censor spe
 eches for ideological or political reasons. Original and unique speeches wi
