 merican Studies invite you to participate in the National Scientific Confer
 ence entitled "Problems and challenges of sociology, resocialization and th
 e penitentiary system."\nWHEN?\nThe conference will be held on Friday, Nove
 mber 9, 2024, between 4:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. online on the Microsoft Teams
  platform.\nThe exact length of the conference depends on the number of spe
 akers. In the event of a high number of applications, we reserve the right 
 to extend the conference also to Saturday, November 10, 2024.\nWHAT IS THE 
 CONFERENCE ABOUT?\nThe main assumption of the Conference is to create a pla
 tform for a broad and interdisciplinary discussion on existing problems and
  future challenges related to the areas of sociology, social rehabilitation
  and the penitentiary system. \nThe conference is a platform for the unrest
 ricted exchange of experiences, views and research between young and experi
 enced scientists, professionals and practitioners.\nWe will address the iss
 ues of the Conference from both theoretical and practical perspectives. We 
 will take into account both contemporary and historical perspectives. Speec
 hes may concern issues from Poland, Europe and the rest of the world. \nPro

 eyond their framework. \nMoreover, the presentations may be interdisciplina
 ry in nature, combining various fields of science.\nWe believe in freedom o
 f academic discussion and do not censor speeches for ideological or politic
 al reasons. Original and unique speeches will always be appreciated by the
