DESCRIPTION:<p>Ladies and Gentlemen, </p><p>The Center for American and the Center for 
 European Studies invite you to participate in the 2nd Interdisciplinary Sci
 entific Conference "Sport and law, psychology, economics and politics".</p>
 <p>WHEN?</p><p>The conference will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024, be
 tween 4:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. online on the Microsoft Teams platform. The l
 ength of the conference depends on the number of speakers. In the event of 
 a high number of applications, we reserve the right to extend the Conferenc
 e also to Saturday, November 16, 2024.</p><p><br />WHAT IS THE CONFERENCE A
 BOUT?</p><p>The main aim of the conference is to discuss the problems and c
 hallenges of sport (both contemporary and historical). The speeches will co
 ver the connections between law and sport, the impact of politics on sport,
  as well as the economic side of sport. The conference will cover, among ot
 hers: pathologies in sport, such as gambling, corruption or doping, which o
 ften prevent fair sports competition. We will also discuss the psychologica
 l aspects of sport (motivation, burnout, athlete's character, psychological
  care for athletes, and many others). The conference will also include thos
 e who who look at sport more from a business perspective - they professiona
 lly deal with legal or economic issues in sports organizations or prepare a
 dvertising or club contracts for athletes as part of their professional wor

 isciplinary in nature, combining various experiences and fields of science.
