DESCRIPTION:Ladies and Gentlemen,\nThe Center for Science & Technology together wit
h the Center for American & European Studies are pleased to invite you
to participate in the 2nd National Congress of Biologists, Geographers and
Ecologists.\nWHEN?\nThe congress will be held on Saturday, November 16, 202
4, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. online on the Microsoft Teams platform.\
nThe length of the Congress depends on the number of speakers. In the event

ress to Sunday, November 17, 2024.\nFOR WHOM?\nThe congress is addressed to
scientists, PhD students, students and enthusiasts of biological and geogr
aphical sciences as well as ecology and environmental protection.\nThe aim
of the congress is to exchange knowledge and experience between young and e
xperienced researchers and to develop interdisciplinary biological, geograp
hical, ecological and related research. The congress will be an excellent o
pportunity to establish new scientific contacts and exchange research resul
ts and experiences with others.\nEXAMPLE TOPIC AREAS \n→ Reclamation of deg
raded areas\n→ History of natural sciences\n→ Activism as a form of impleme
nting nature protection demands \n→ Ways to restore degraded areas to their
natural state using technology and ecological knowledge\n→ Food production
methods that minimize environmental impact\n→ Ecosystem Engineering\n→ Eco
logy as a political and social challenge\n→ Predictions about changes in th
e natural world\n→ Green revolution, i.e. trends in climate protection and
energy policy\n→ Possibilities of restoring ecosystems\n→ Digital nature ma
pping\n→ Digital technologies in environmental monitoring\n→ Archaeological
research\n→ Breakthroughs in geographical sciences\n→ Ecology in legal asp
ect\n→ Application of 3D printing technology in natural research\n→ Researc
h tools used by biologists\n→ Interspecies interactions in ecosystems\n→ R
elationships between different species and their impact on natural dynamics
\n→ The use of biotechnology in agriculture and its impact on the environme
nt\n→ Use of GPS tracking and remote sensing to manage populations and habi
tats\n→ Outstanding scientists in the fields of geography, biology and ecol
ogy\nThe thematic areas indicated above are examples only - we strongly enc
ourage you to go beyond their framework. Moreover, the presentations may be
interdisciplinary in nature, combining various fields of science.\nWe do n
ot censor speeches for political or ideological reasons. Original and uniqu

pt presentations in Polish and English.\nPresentations may be based on your
own or other people's research (review of achievements and literature), as
well as take the form of case studies. Poster presentations are also accep
