DESCRIPTION:Ladies and Gentlemen,\nThe Center for Science &amp; Technology together wit
 h the Center for American &amp; European Studies are pleased to invite you 
 to participate in the 2nd National Scientific Conference entitled "Discover
 ing the natural world".\nWhen?\nThe conference will be held on Saturday, Ja
 nuary 18, 2025, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. online on the Microsoft Tea
 ms platform.\nThe length of the conference depends on the number of speaker
 s. In the event of a high number of applications, we reserve the right to e
 xtend the conference to Sunday, January 19, 2025.\nWHAT IS THE CONFERENCE A
 BOUT?\nThe main goal of the conference is to discuss problems and challenge
 s related to the natural world in all its dimensions.\nThe presentations wi
 ll be organized into thematic panels divided into fields of science (natura
 l sciences, engineering and technology, social sciences and humanities).\nE
 XAMPLE TOPIC AREAS\n→ Biodiversity and protection of endangered species.\n→
  History and future of natural sciences.\n→ Urban ecology: how cities affec
 t the natural environment.\n→ Research on aquatic ecosystems and their impo
 rtance for life on Earth.\n→ New technologies in natural research, e.g. the
  use of drones or artificial intelligence.\n→ Environmental education and p
 romotion of ecological awareness in society.\n→ The role of politics and la
 w in protecting the natural environment.\n→ Use of natural resources and th
 eir sustainable management.\n→ The impact of urbanization on the quality of
  life and the urban environment.\n→ Social aspects of nature conservation: 
 ecotourism, management of national parks.\n→ Ethics and morality in the con
 text of ecology and nature protection.\n→ Evolution and adaptation of organ
 isms to changing environmental conditions.\nPresentations may be interdisci
 plinary in nature, combining various fields of science.\nPoster presentatio
 ns are accepted.\nSpeeches at the intersection of two sciences will be incl
 uded in the appropriate panel based on the decision of the Conference Scien
 tific Committee resulting from the analysis of the content of the submitted
  abstract.\nWe believe in academic freedom. Original and unique speeches wi
 ll always be appreciated by the Scientific Committee.\nFor whom?\n☞ We cord
 ially invite students and PhD students, experienced researchers, as well as
  all other people interested in the conference topics to actively participa
