 ic Conference entitled: "Sexuality and law, psychology and social sciences.
 "\nWhen?\nThe conference will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, betwee
 n 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. online on the Microsoft Teams platform.\nThe leng
 th of the conference depends on the number of speakers. In the event of a h
 igh number of applications, we reserve the right to extend the conference t
 o Sunday, January 19, 2025.\nWhat is the Conference about?\nThe main goal o
 f the conference is a discussion on the broadly understood issue of sexuali
 ty through the prism of social sciences and humanities (law, psychology, so
 ciology, cultural studies, political science, philosophy, history, anthropo
 logy, and - which may come as a surprise to some - economics).\nThe confere
 nce organizers are also open to presentations devoted to sexuality from the
  perspective of medicine and health sciences.\nSpeeches may refer to both c
 ontemporary and historical issues.\nProposed (exemplary) thematic areas?\n•
  legal regulations interfering with human sexuality in the legal systems of
  selected countries (in the past and today)\n• non-heteronormativity – lega
 l, political, psychological and cultural aspects\n• sexual crime\n• issues 
 of sexual and gender discrimination\n• sexual disorders in children, adoles
 cents and adults\n• gender roles in the cultures of selected societies\n• h
 istory of sexuality\n• norms and customs regarding sexuality in the culture
 s of selected societies (past and present)\n• marketization of sexuality\n•
  sexuality in mass media and advertising\n• sexuality in art (film, music, 
 sculpture, painting)\n• sexuality in medicine and health sciences\nThe them
 atic areas indicated above are examples only - we strongly encourage you to
  go beyond their framework. Moreover, the presentations may be interdiscipl
 inary in nature, combining various fields of science.\nWe believe in freedo
 m of academic discussion and do not censor speeches for ideological or poli
 tical reasons. Original and unique speeches will always be appreciated by t
 he Scientific Committee.\nFor whom?\n• We cordially invite students and PhD
  students, experienced researchers, practitioners, as well as all other peo
 ple interested in the conference topics to actively participate in the conf
 erence.\n• Passive participation does not require any scientific qualificat
