 merican Studies invite you to participate in the 5th International Conferen
 ce on "New Technologies and Law, Psychology, and Social Sciences".\nWhen?\n
 The conference will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:3
 0 p.m. online on the Microsoft Teams platform.\nThe length of the conferenc
 e depends on the number of speakers. In the event of a high number of appli
 cations, we reserve the right to extend the conference to Sunday, June 8, 2
 025.\nWhat is the conference about?\nThe main assumption of the conference 
 is to discuss the topic of new technologies in Poland and around the world 
 through the prism of social sciences and humanities, such as law, psycholog
 y, political science, sociology, economics, cultural studies, and philosoph
 y.\nWe will address the topic of new technologies and changes in legal regu
 lations and social attitudes towards a rapidly changing reality. We will al
 so discuss the problems of new technologies, their development paths, and t
 he most important threats.\nProposed (example) thematic areas:\n• the impac
 t of new technologies on the human mind\n• new technologies and social and 
 intimate relationships\n• the need for legislative solutions in the area of
  ​​information law\n• protection against threats to fundamental rights, inc
 luding the right to privacy and the issue of personal data\n• artificial in
 telligence (AI)\n• virtual reality (VR)\n• augmented reality (AR)\n• challe
 nges of media policy, press and copyright law in the digital market\n• new 
 technologies and economic development and the labor market\n• fembots, sexb
 ots - postmodern objects of desire in the context of digital humanities\n• 
 digital competences and competences of the future and new power elites and 
 life in information capitalism\n• law of new technologies\n• and many more!
 \nThe above thematic areas are only examples - we strongly encourage you to
  go beyond them. In addition, presentations may be interdisciplinary in nat
 ure, combining various fields of science.\nWe believe in the freedom of aca
 demic discussion and do not censor presentations for ideological or politic
 al reasons. Original and unconventional presentations will always be apprec
 iated by the Scientific Committee.\nFor whom?\n• We cordially invite studen
 ts and PhD students, experienced researchers, as well as all other people i
 nterested in the conference topics to actively participate in the conferenc
