 ce entitled "Cultural Property, Historical Identity, National Heritage - In
 terdisciplinary Approach".\nWHEN?\nThe conference will be held on Friday, O

 ms platform.\nThe length of the conference depends on the number of speaker
 s.\nIn the event of a high number of applications, we reserve the right to 
 extend the Congress to Saturday, October 25, 2025.\nWHAT IS THE CONFERENCE 
 ABOUT?\nThe conference aims to discuss issues related to broadly understood
  national and historical identity and cultural property and heritage.\nThan
 ks to the interdisciplinary approach to the discussed issues, the conferenc
 e will address a number of issues from the humanities and social sciences (
 cultural studies, law, history, sociology, art, philosophy, international r
 elations, linguistics and others).\nWe will discuss in order to find theore
 tical and practical solutions that will contribute to the protection and pr
 omotion of the cultural and historical heritage of selected countries and s
 ocieties (Poland, Europe and the rest of the world).\nSUGGESTED (EXAMPLE) T
 OPIC AREAS\n• Pride of origin and approaches to patriotism\n• Protection an
 d promotion of the cultural heritage of selected societies, nations and eth
 nic groups (e.g. Jews, Aborigines, Silesians, Tibetans) in the era of globa
 lization\n• Nationalism and patriotism – differences and threats in the con
 text of historical and current political events\n• National and internation
 al law on the protection of cultural assets – selected problems\n• The role
  of cultural institutions in the protection of cultural and national assets
 \n• Historical heritage from a tourist perspective as a factor of regional 
 development\n• Globalization and regionalization – which direction to take?
 \n• Marketization vs. nationalization of culture, or economic models of pro
 tecting cultural heritage. • Popular culture as an element of cultural heri
 tage\n• Contemporary challenges related to the protection and promotion of 
 the cultural heritage of selected societies, nations and ethnic groups\n• A
 ccepting one's own history in the context of international politics\n• Inte
 rdisciplinary dimension of research on cultural and historical heritage\nTh
 e above-mentioned thematic areas are only examples - we strongly encourage 
 you to go beyond them.\nPresentations may also be interdisciplinary in natu
 re, combining various fields of science.\nPresentations may also concern on
 ly one of the selected fields.\nWe believe in the freedom of academic discu
 ssion and do not censor presentations for ideological or political reasons.
