The 30th Anniversary Scientific Conference "Advances in Gynecological On cology" will be held in Zakopane on September 10-11, 2026.
The confer ence is addressed to gynecologists, obstetricians, gynecological oncologist s, chemotherapy specialists, radiotherapists, radiologists, nurses and midw ives, interns, and physicians in the process of specialization. Currently, in gynecological oncology, a team approach and good communication between i ndividual team members are crucial to ensure improved work outcomes and to enhance treatment outcomes and the quality of Polish gynecological oncology . The aim of the annual meetings is to impart specialized knowledge, both p ractical – during workshops – and theoretical – during scientific sessions, as well as to promote and emphasize the crucial importance of continuing e ducation and cooperation between physicians with various specializations: o ncologists, obstetricians, gynecologists, radiotherapy specialists, and che motherapy specialists, in order to comprehensively provide care to patients and properly perform diagnostic, surgical, and therapeutic procedures. The conference also discusses current guidelines, recommendations, and standar ds for cancer treatment, ensuring physicians have the opportunity to obtain the latest information and answers to pressing medical questions.
Th e lecturers include experts and practitioners in cancer prevention, imaging , and molecular diagnostics, as well as distinguished surgeons, chemotherap euticians, and radiotherapists from across the country. Each year, the even t attracts presidents of medical societies, heads of clinics at leading nat ional institutions, and participants – practicing physicians, nurses, and m idwives. Thanks to our invited guests and lecturers, we aim to present the full spectrum of possibilities in modern gynecologic oncology.
The an niversary edition includes practical workshops on comprehensive gynecologic oncology treatment, radiochemotherapy workshops, a scientific and training session for nurses and midwives, and all-day scientific panel sessions for specialists.
